This equipment can be used to produce the following end products:

  • Stripping Flat Coated Wire

  • Flat Coated Wire

  • Flat Coated Wire Stripping

The equipment performs the stripping of the coated flat rope for an adjustable length.

This consists of an aluminum base on feet on which the following units are applied:
– a vice operated by a pneumatic cylinder
– a stripping system with knives applied to a sliding carriage, operated by a pneumatic cylinder
– a sliding carriage driven by a pneumatic cylinder on which the group of knives is fixed
– a pneumatic control panel for the management of the work cycle

– pneumatic supply 5 bar
– working cycle execution time: about 2 sec.
The operator inserts the coated rope in the vice holding it against the mechanical stop, then presses the pedal to execute the work cycle.

The following operations are carried out in sequence: clamp closure, incision of the cable coating with knives, stripping and finally repositioning of the units in the starting conditions.

At the end of the operation he must remove the rope.
